A dress up party can sometimes be the answer

I have come to the conclusion that there are 2 types of people in the world: those who like dress up parties, and those who don't. I can't begin to explain the rush that I get when the invite to a real killer dress up party comes my way. I like to think that I can be pretty fun and along with this I like to think I can plan a pretty good costume. So I say don't knock it till you try it. For me I couldn't be happier with all the good things that have come out of my years of silly dress up parties...life isn't the way its suppose to be...it's the way it is, the way we take life on makes all the difference.

I've come to believe that life is too short to blend in, don't settle for average. You're only young once, and you may as well have a good time while your at it. I plan on being able to look back on my life and say that I didn't miss out on anything.

Memories. You get to talk about "that guy" at the party for many stories to come...and no we are not talking about the cute guy, we are talking about the one that had to take it just a little too far, say something a little too inappropriate, and essentially "that guy" had to leave early. Now where else do you get that but a dress up party!

Think about all the quality time you get to spend with your best girlfriends trying to pick and plan outfits for this party. Some of my very best laughs and greatest times have been with a glue gun in hand and scissors in the other in a room full of people who I love and enjoy.

And really isn't life all about having a little fun, so why be constrained to the norm. Let go, give a little, through caution to the wind, throw your hair up and just go with it. You never know how much fun you're going to have until you try it.
